I have a lot of feelings about this picture.
This scenery is from the village where my mother's parents live.
A small village in the mountains, on a small plain carved out by a river.
Paddy fields are being cultivated. It can be said to be the original landscape of Japan.
When I was young, I went to Tokyo to go to art school.
I like the convenience, liveliness, and sophisticated beauty of the city,
I have never forgotten this scenery.
Life here isn't easy either.
If you have a sensitivity for beauty in your heart, it can be called a paradise in a sense.
It's so idyllic and peaceful,
How many people are aware of that happiness?
Japan modernized after the Meiji Restoration and adopted a policy of enriching the country and strengthening its military.
