[Message from the organizer]

Only 3% of the world's art market is traded in Japan, and a whopping 38% in New York

In other words, if you're an artist, you can't start unless you compete in New York, the center of the world.

Japan Contemporary's is an unconventional exhibition based on the concept of "art is free and equal!"

We don't care about your career or background.

Great things are great! Why not bring your art to New York, where good things are appreciated regardless of race, religion, or gender?

Why not aim for your world debut without worrying about being in Japan?

[Event details]

This exhibition is the fourth in a series of exhibitions jointly organized by Emmy Award-winning broadcast writer Genichi Adachi and New York-based curator Kyoko Sato, who is known for introducing Japanese culture. This will be an exhibition to introduce you to. In this series, we introduce artists who are active in Japan and create interesting works regardless of genre or background into the world's most cutting-edge art scene. Not only that, this fourth edition will provide opportunities based on the idea that "all humans are precious, and the works of all artists are valuable." Series 2 “Bitter Sweet” (New York Tenri Cultural Society, Union Square, August 21-26) and Series 3 “Stepping Into A World” (Gallery Max New York, SoHo, August 22-27) The event will be held to completely fill the downtown art scene with Japanese art.

Now, let's take on the world!
