世界中の人々に作品を発信しよう 〜Twitterに絵やイラストを載せるコツ〜 - FROM ARTIST

Let's share your work with people all over the world - Tips for posting pictures and illustrations on Twitter -

Hello!

You want more people to see the pictures and illustrations you draw! Have you ever thought that?

Now that SNS has become popular, I think it has become easier to have your drawings seen by an unspecified number of people other than family and friends.

However, if you're going to upload the work you've worked so hard to draw on social media, you want it to catch the attention of as many people as possible.

So this time, I would like to introduce some points to keep in mind when uploading your own works on Twitter .

① Tips for uploading your work to SNS ~Twitter edition~

Twitter currently has over 300 million users worldwide. It has better "spreading power" than any other SNS, and you can know what's trending around the world at a glance.

・About thumbnails

The first thing to keep in mind when uploading illustrations to Twitter is to be aware of the thumbnail .

Twitter allows you to attach up to four images to a single post. However, if you don't pay attention to the thumbnail, you'll end up losing sight of the pictures and illustrations you've worked so hard to draw, resulting in a wasteful post!

Twitter has recently started allowing you to post vertical thumbnails , so if you're uploading only one work, you don't have to worry about the aspect ratio that much.

For horizontal images ↓ For vertical images ↓

However, you need to be careful when giving more than 2 pieces.

In case of 2 pieces ↓

When you post two images, the aspect ratio of the thumbnail will be 8:9 (slightly longer than square).

8:9 Even if it's not perfect, a square or vertical picture allows you to show the picture without it being cut off too much.

In case of 3 pieces ↓

If you post three images, the first one will have the same 8:9 aspect ratio as before, but the second and third thumbnails will have an aspect ratio of 9:16, making them quite horizontal.

In case of 4 pieces ↓

If you post 4 images, the aspect ratio of all thumbnails will be 9:16. It is better to use horizontally long pictures and illustrations as much as possible.

・Recommended hashtags

The second point is the #hashtag , which can be seen by many people !

This applies to all SNS, but the words and content may vary slightly depending on each SNS. Here we will introduce recommended hashtags when posting pictures on Twitter.
