Chiba / Chiba City Museum of Art
The City Museum of Art opened in 1995 and was renovated in 2020.
The former Kawasaki Chiba Branch Bank, built in 1928, has been preserved and restored, and one of the highlights is Sayado Hall, which was built around the building. The neo-renaissance style building allows you to enjoy the atmosphere of the time when it was a bank.
The exhibitions, which are highly acclaimed nationwide, focus on ukiyo-e, Edo paintings, and contemporary art.
Many works by famous Japanese painters such as Kitagawa Utamaro and Katsushika Hokusai are on display, so you can take your time to appreciate the real thing.

Toke / Hoki Museum
Opened in 2010 as Japan's first art museum specializing in realistic paintings.
The museum has approximately 500 works in its collection, and exhibits works by approximately 60 contemporary artists, including Hiroshi Noda and Tadahiko Nakayama.
It is a three-story corridor building that is in harmony with nature, and you can take a closer look at the realistic works that will make you want to look closely.
There is also a cafe attached, a restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Italian cuisine, and a museum shop, so you can spend a relaxing day at the museum.

Keisei Nakayama / Ichikawa City Higashiyama Kaii Memorial Museum
Opened in 2005 in Ichikawa, a place connected to Kaii Higashiyama, one of Japan's leading Japanese painters of the 20th century.
You can view works such as ``Ryokue'', ``Entering Summer'', and ``Yukino'', as well as materials and belongings related to Kaii Higashiyama .
You can spend your time in a calm atmosphere while looking at the Western-style building with an octagonal tower and the lush garden.

Noda City / Mogi Honke Museum of Art
The Mogi Honke, one of the founding families of Kikkoman, opened in 2006.
It has a collection of approximately 4,300 works from the early modern period to the present day, including works by famous painters such as Katsushika Hokusai and Yokoyama Taikan.
The building is designed to harmonize with the expansive lawn of the garden and Inari Shrine, and features features such as natural windows and a moon-like structure on the tower, allowing you to enjoy the space while relaxing and appreciating the works.

Takataki / Ichihara Lakeside Art Museum
Opened in 2013 as part of the renovation of the tourist and cultural facility "Ichihara City Water and Sculpture Hill."
Its role is to ``build the community through art'' by holding special exhibitions centered on contemporary art, holding workshops for the local community and children, and engaging in community activities.
Approximately 500 works by Yukio Fukazawa, one of Japan's leading printmakers, are on display in our collection.
You can enjoy both works and art in the beautiful scenery of Lake Takataki.

Katsuura / SGT Art Museum
The Suda Art Museum opened in Tokyo in 1998 and moved to Katsuura City in 2016.
We have collected and exhibited a wide range of approximately 500 works, including paintings, ceramics, and lacquerware, from the Edo period to modern times.
This museum is also recommended for art beginners, as the director, Koji Suda, may explain the works.

Keisei Sakura / Sakura City Museum of Art
It was built to preserve and utilize the former Kawasaki Bank Sakura Branch, and opened in 1994 as an art museum familiar to citizens.
We collect and display works by artists connected to Sakura and Boso, and also hold exhibitions related to modern art.
The entrance hall is a reproduction of a bank built in the Taisho era, allowing you to enjoy the atmosphere of the time.
