Gora / Hakone Glass Forest Museum

Opened in 1996 as a museum specializing in Venetian glass.

Not only beautiful Venetian glass, but also works by currently active glass artists are on display.

Outside, you can enjoy the atmosphere along with the glass, including the glittering ``Corridor of Light'' and a building modeled after the villas of European aristocrats.

Hakone Open-Air Museum / Hakone Open-Air Museum

Opened in 1969 as Japan's first open-air art museum that takes advantage of Hakone's natural surroundings.

Approximately 120 impressive outdoor sculptures are on display, as well as 319 pieces from the Picasso Pavilion, one of the world's largest collections.

You can leisurely enjoy the sculptures as if you were taking a walk in nature.

Kamakura / Kanagawa Museum of Modern Art Hayama

Opened in 2003 as the third building of the Kanagawa Museum of Modern Art.

Since 2016, it has consisted of two buildings: Hayamakan and Kamakurakan.

In total, the museum has a collection of over 15,000 works including Western paintings, Japanese paintings, and sculptures.


It's close to the sea, so the museum's white building and seaside location are perfect.

Keikyu Shioiri / Kasuya no Mori Museum of Contemporary Art

It opened in 1994 to exhibit mainly contemporary art, including works by currently active artists.

The exhibit focuses on Joseph Beuys, one of the greatest post-war writers .

Opened in 1991 with the main theme of <Shonan art and light>.
