Artist name: Yutaka Abe
Artist profile:
Illustrator (PhD in environmental studies). After working as an environmental consultant and a postdoctoral researcher on the water cycle, in 2021 he became an illustrator specializing in warm illustrations of cats and cafes and the environment. I like to incorporate social issues, useless knowledge, and stories into my messy illustrations, mainly watercolors and Copics. He has also created many diagrams for visual communication that explain environmental studies and geology in an easy-to-understand manner.

Under a single lamp, a map is spread out somewhere, and what kind of strategy is being planned? Apparently it's a travel plan. Moreover, it seems like he is planning his next trip while basking in the afterglow of his last trip. Now, can you guess where it is from the hints scattered here and there? I would be happy if you could take your time and enjoy the art.

Size of work: 47 cm tall x 40 cm wide x 2 cm long (size including quarter-cut frame)
Description of the work:
Let's all work together I'm brewing coffee with a siphon. The barista cat is stirring as the water in the lower flask begins to boil and rise into the upper funnel. At the barista's signal, the dog pulls the burner to stop the boiling, and the panda puts the used upper funnel into the hole at his feet. Other children also have a role to play. I would be happy if you could take your time and enjoy the art.

Titled "A trip around 47 prefectures! Art journey across Japan",
At the Tsukuba Museum of Art, a contemporary art museum in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
We will be holding our first special exhibition🥳
FROM ARTIST, whose main activity is usually online.
We will create opportunities for people all over the country to see our works directly,
