Hello!
Have you ever thought, "I want more people to see the pictures and illustrations I've drawn!"?
Now that social media has become widespread, it has become easier to have people other than family and friends see your drawings.
However, if you're going to upload a work that you've worked so hard to create to social media, you want it to catch the eye of as many people as possible.
So, this time I would like to introduce some points to keep in mind when uploading your own work on Twitter✨

①Tips for uploading your work to social media: Twitter
Twitter currently has over 300 million users worldwide. Its "spreading power" is greater than any other social networking site, allowing users to see what's trending in the world at a glance.
・About thumbnails
One thing to keep in mind when uploading illustrations to Twitter is to pay attention to the thumbnail .
Twitter allows you to attach up to four images to one post. However, if you don't pay attention to the thumbnails, your drawings and illustrations will end up being cut off, making for a wasteful post!
Twitter has only recently made it possible to post vertical thumbnails , so if you're only uploading one image, you don't need to worry too much about the aspect ratio.
For horizontal images↓ For vertical images↓

However, you need to be careful if you give more than two cards.
In the case of two pieces:

When posting two images, the aspect ratio of the thumbnail will be 8:9 (slightly taller than square).
Although it's not exactly 8:9, a square or vertically long image allows you to display the image without it being cut off too much.
In the case of 3 cards:

If you post three images, the first one will have the same aspect ratio of 8:9 as before, but the second and third thumbnails will have an aspect ratio of 9:16, which is quite wide.
In the case of 4 pieces:

If you post four images, the aspect ratio of all thumbnails will be 9:16. It is best to use landscape pictures or illustrations as much as possible.
・Recommended hashtags
The second point is to use a #hashtag so that lots of people can see it !
This applies to all social media platforms, but the words and content vary slightly depending on the platform. Here, we will introduce some recommended hashtags for uploading pictures to Twitter.
