①Hold a solo or group exhibition at a gallery
Renting a gallery to exhibit and sell your work requires a fair amount of money and preparation time. However, as an artist, you can put the fact that you "held an exhibition" on your profile. This is probably the biggest benefit. You also have to do all the advertising on social media yourself, which takes a lot of time, but it gives you the opportunity to have customers actually see your work. It may even lead to your next activity.
② Participate in events such as Design Festa
Have you heard of Design Festa, commonly known as Dezafes, one of Japan's largest art events? Anyone, professional or amateur, can exhibit original works or goods. The biggest advantage of these events is that many customers are there with the intention of purchasing. With so many booths, it's also an opportunity to interact with other artists, and you might enjoy a different atmosphere than an exhibition. However, even with this method, it's essential to advertise and prepare on social media to attract customers to your booth.
3. Create your own website
Recently, more and more people are creating their own online shops to sell paintings, goods, and other items. Some services are even free, so it seems like the barrier to opening an online shop has become much lower in recent years. However, the downside is that if you don't attract a certain amount of attention, there's a chance that no one will see your shop. Also, since you have to manage everything on the site yourself, it may not be suitable for people who aren't good with computers or the internet.
④ Use flea market apps
Flea market apps such as Yahoo! Auctions and Mercari have become increasingly popular in recent years. Many people are actually selling their own artworks, such as paintings, and the advantage is that you can easily get started with just one app. However, since these sites are not originally specialized in selling paintings, there is a chance that you will not be able to sell your items at the price you want.

② Submission of works
Once you have completed your artist registration, you can start submitting your work to FROM ARTIST.

・The following listing application form will be displayed. There will be several questions, so please enter the answers that match the work you want to list.

・Choose a theme for your work.

・Please enter your desired selling price.
・Please enter the title of your work.
・Please enter a description of your work.
