Winter Light, Colors Found in the Snow

Hello❕✨

From artists all over Japan

This is the "#fromartist" management office where you can find your favorite works 😊

Today,

Artists featured in FROM ARTIST

We will feature your work❕

The theme this time is "Winter light, colors found in the snow"!

In the silence of winter,

At first glance, the scenery of silvery white snow

It looks like it's surrounded by achromatic colors.

However, even in the snow, colors are certainly alive.

The winter season comes with the cold,

We are in an ordinary landscape

You can see subtle color changes that you normally wouldn't notice.

The winter light reflects off the snow,

The moment when various colors play out

It's just like a work of art painted by nature ☺️❄️

This special feature focuses on the colors found in the snow.

We will introduce the works and artists that bring winter art to life.

A soft pink that permeates the snowy landscape,

The pale blue created by the winter sunshine,

And the deep grey of the cold sky.

These colors enhance the beauty of the winter season,

It gives us new excitement.

[Title] Moonlight

[Artist name] yoshiaki

[Year of production] 2024

[Artwork orientation and size] Landscape: 51.5cm x 72.8cm

[Framed] No

Description of the work:

I used acrylic paint, pastel, and charcoal. I minimized digital processing, focusing only on composition, placement, and printing. Printed on B2-sized, heavyweight, high-quality matte paper. I used a fixative to protect the colors and materials for durability.

I hope that the subject of my expression will convey not superficial colors, shapes, or motifs, but the "importance of life" as proof of being alive that lies within.

With echoes of the past still lingering as the harsh winter approaches, the dazzling moonlight that shines over her eyes expresses the life and importance of a quiet but stubborn woman who holds out hope for spring.

When you go outside during the cold winter days,

You will be able to notice the beauty of colors hidden in everyday scenes.

The subtle changes in color found in the snow,

A fantastic gradation of colors created by the winter light.

By following these colors,

Our senses become richer,

This will make the winter season even more appealing.

In the art world, winter brings about stillness and depth.

The colors we find there give us a new perspective.

The colors found in the snow, the colors wrapped in winter light,

They are not just part of the landscape,

It's a beautiful moment that will remain deeply etched in our hearts.

Every time I feel cold, I remember the world of colors that unfolds deep within.

Come and experience the powerful energy of winter art!
