Born in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture. Moved to Tokyo after graduating from Morioka Daiichi High School. After graduating from a general university, he taught himself while working as a cram school teacher. He was influenced by Obaku Hakuin, the calligraphy of Ikkyu Sojun, and impressionist painters Kisling, Lautrec, and Vallotton. Recent activities include participating in the 3rd Salon d'Art Japonais in 2024, participating in Aqua Art Miami, receiving the Japanese Art Honorary Grand Prize at the 2025 Art Expo in Paris, receiving the Japanese Art Contribution Grand Prize at the 3rd Art Light in Ishikawa, and being selected for the Nagoya Railroad Art Collection, among many others.
