Collection: Kiyoko Fueki
He lives in Isesaki City, Gunma Prefecture. He studied aesthetics and art history at university and obtained a curatorial qualification. He works at a photography shop.
In 2006, while taking a photo of the sun with his mobile phone camera, he noticed a phenomenon in which colorful light appeared in the image, even though the photo had not been edited at all. This made him realize that there was art in photographs of the sun, and he established his own unique style of taking photos of the sun while thinking of words wishing happiness.
Many people have commented that the photos have had effects such as healing the mind and body, bringing good luck, and purifying the space, and word of mouth has spread, with orders coming in from all over the country.
In addition to solo exhibitions and group exhibitions in Japan, he has exhibited his works in 17 countries, including international art fairs such as Art Expo New York. He received the Japan-Greece Cultural Exchange Art Award and donated his works to the Telavi History Museum in Georgia.
Healing art of light brings healing and happiness to those who see it.
