In 2017, I retired from the design department of a major automobile manufacturer where I had worked for many years. In 2021, I began working as a painter. Concerned about the current situation in which Japan's traditional culture and nature are being lost, I visited Kyoto, Nara, Gifu, and other places, and expressed their beauty in watercolors. Through social media, I express the beauty of Japan's traditions, culture, and nature that are being lost in watercolors and share them with the world. Today, I continue to paint steadily and enjoyably.
