I have had many conflicts throughout my life about being Asian. At the same time, I never forget to include color in my paintings, expressing the individuality of my models. I also have no hesitation in depicting different races and genders. My background is that I painted many nudes and still lifes when I was young. I have been selected and awarded at the Sogo Art Exhibition in Kobe and the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum in Tokyo.
