He is a Charyudo artist and chiropractor (DC). In 2021, inspired by a painting of a dragon god using thick tea as ink, he established his own unique technique for painting with matcha and founded Charyudo. Charyudo's concept is "living painting." As a perishable material, matcha changes color over time, and this shift in the impermanence of all things embodies a view of nature within his work. The final form is unknown even to the artist himself, and only the owner can live with its changes, creating a unique collaborative work. The theme is "returning to self." Throughout life, we can become bound by various values and stereotypes, straying from our true selves. Charyudo's works hope to connect with the viewer, freeing them from stereotypes and inspiring them to remember their pure and free selves. Even the aroma and changing color of the tea are part of the work, providing an experience through all five senses. The changes that the owner of a painting feels over time are in themselves the beginning of a journey to realize the preciousness of "living in the here and now."My expression is not simply a pursuit of beauty, but I hope it will resonate deep within the hearts of those who see and touch it, inspiring hope and confidence.
