渋田薫は絵画作家だが音に関心を抱き、音が色や形となって現れる様子を元に即興的に描いている。五感などの感覚、情報量は多大とされる視覚のように「視えている」他に、音のように「聴こえている」ものなど、それらによる情報が私たちの中で統合され認識される時、別の感覚でフィードバックが還ってくることがあり、各感覚はそれだけで閉ざされているわけではない。そうした共感覚的な状態で渋田は「色」と「形」を感じている。日々、自身を取り巻く環境(外界・他者)から受ける影響を、五感、知覚を通して受容し、把握している中に無意識に入り込んだ、手に取ることも出来ない、形を持たぬまま消え入りそうになる何か、はっきりと感じ取ったもの、残ったものだけが存在していると言えるわけでもない。手がかりとなる始めの鍵は異なるが、表現を空間に配置、循環させる事で、新たな交感が生じる環境を生み出す事が出来るかもしれない。 世界は音で繋がっている。 バッハは音楽の旧約聖書として旋律や構成の美しさは現在もなお讃えられている。 ベートーベンが哲学を超えるように作曲したの。なら、私の絵でそれらを表現する。 モーツァルトが地上界と天上界を繋ぐために音楽を書いたのであれば、私は私の絵でそれらを広めるという役割を担う

    The artist will pack and ship the work while expressing his gratitude with his own hands.
