台湾の裏路地を、光源の方向性と反射光の階調で分析的に描写した。黄土の壁面と群青の影を対置し、空間の温度差を強調する。椅子・台・鉢植えは生活の痕跡であると同時に、鑑賞者の視線と身体を導く装置として機能する。奥の暗部からさらに光が差し込む気配、何重にも重なる気配を設定した。わずかな気配よって、場所が抱えるその場に立つことの意味を呼び起こす。
