庭のアセビをスケッチしました。
アセビは漢字で「馬酔木」と書きます。
なぜこの字なのか疑問でしたが、調べたらアセビには毒があり、馬が食べると毒にあたって酔ったようにふらつくことから、この漢字になったそうです。
人間も食べれば毒ですが、スケッチして観賞いただく分には問題ありません(^^)
葉が少し垂れ下がっている様子が可愛らしいと思います。
