Description of the work:
Japanese painting (using mother-of-pearl). The ink is "Ranjatai". Due to climate change, environmental destruction and pollution, the number of fireflies has drastically decreased. Fireflies, which can only live in clean environments, are a symbol of the beauty of the earth. I painted this with a deep appreciation for beautiful nature, fireflies and wildlife. This painting combines two of the 72 seasons of the 24 solar terms, "Mangzhong ~ Frozen Grass for Fireflies ~" and "Summer Solstice ~ Iris Flowers ~", with the constellations "Gemini ♊" and "Cancer ♋".
