El Jefe means "The Boss" in Spanish. I used a Mexican friend of mine who is very kind to me and whom everyone calls "The Boss" as my model, and I painted him at a bar.
For me, my oil paintings are based on the theme of what classical painters would paint if they were to see the present day, and while spending time with Bosch, I came across a scene that I thought was classical yet very modern, and I had the honor of painting it.
