桜吹雪とは吹雪のように一斉に乱れ散りゆく様子で綺麗な桜のはかない情景です。富士は古来より信仰の対象や芸術の巨像、日本の永遠の象徴。作品はつむじ風で一つ一つの花びらが同じ筋に沿って巻いて散ってます。遠方の雪富士に見送られながら、咲いたばかりの花びらが綺麗に鮮やかに雪吹雪のように散っています。耐久性に優れた樹脂粘土で整形した立体絵画。桜吹雪は宙に浮いてますが針金でしっかり固定。
