この作品は、人の中にある「いくつもの自分」を表しています。
正面の顔は今の自分、左右の顔は過去の自分や他人から見た自分をイメージしています。
人は一つの性格だけでできているわけではなく、場面や気持ちによって違う顔を持っています。
バラバラに見える色や形も、実はすべて一つの体につながっていて、(いろいろな自分が重なって、ひとりの自分になる)ということを表現しました。
中央の手は、そのすべてを受け入れて一つになろうとする姿です。
