Description of the work:
This is one of my self-discovery series. I added a lot to a work I painted in the 1990s that I had left untouched. The Piano Bird was an image that appeared frequently at the time, linking birds with music. In my case, this leads me to Quetzalcoatl, and in urban legend terms, to a reptilian alien. (I won't go into too much detail here.)
I can't pinpoint where these images come from, but they motivate me to paint.
