Description of the work:

Acrylic painting (using gemstones amethyst, mother-of-pearl, and crystal powder). Hidden text: "Let us cherish precious life and the great nature, praying for the abolition of nuclear weapons and peace." In the sea where the Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Dome can be seen, the girl poses at the Nagasaki Peace Memorial Statue, wearing a flower crown of "Himeyuri, Nagoran, and White Plum" to commemorate various war victims. The girl also protects dolphins and sea turtles after laying eggs from being attacked by sharks. As I was drawing coral under the sea surface of the rock where the girl is sitting, the image of the last love of the war victims emerged on the canvas, so I painted it. Counterclockwise, ① the image of a mother covering her three children to protect them from war attacks. ② the image of a mother protecting her children from war attacks. ③ the image of a grandmother trying to protect her grandchildren until the end of her life, even though her body is burning. ④ the image of a mother covering her three children to protect them from war attacks, even though she has lost both eyes. ⑤ A man commits suicide with a gun in his mouth, remembering the last time his family prayed for peace and clasped hands together. The coral branches look like splattered brains. ⑥ A mother and child fall into the sea while fleeing a war attack. The hands of the baby's mother and older siblings push the baby up to the surface, trying to save at least the baby. The baby looks happy, thinking that he is being held. The fetus can also be seen on an ultrasound, so there may have been a fetus there. ⑦ A mother presses her forehead together to comfort her crying child who was injured in a war attack. ⑧ Female student corps members try to save a dying male student corps member in some way. They look just like the Virgin Mary. In the beautiful sea, corals spawn and various creatures live their lives.
