醍醐桜は標高500mの高台に咲く、樹齢1000年の1本桜。云われは後醍醐天皇が隠岐に流される途中に立ち寄り褒め称えました。 樹高18m、枝張り20mの巨木。そびえ立つ風格と偉大な存在感が圧巻。毎年醍醐祭りが開催され、大渋滞になる程多くの観光客が訪れます。 工法は、耐久性に優れた樹脂粘土を材料に整形した立体絵画。立体奥行8cm
