この作品は当初、「ゴールドアンドホワイト」というテーマで描き始めた。しかし、全く上手く行かず座礁した。そこから手を加え混沌の領域をさまよった。これは多分黄金時代から落下したのだと思った。ハイデガーの観念に「頽落」という言葉がある。それに似ているかも知れない。
