この作品は、人の体をいくつもの色や形の「かけら」で表現しています。 よく見ると、体はバラバラのパーツでできているように見えますが、全体として一つの人間の形になっています。 これは、私たちの心や存在も同じように、いろいろな経験や感情の積み重ねでできている、という考えを表しています。
また、背景にもたくさんの破片のような形を使うことで、「人は周りの世界ともつながっている」という意味を込めました。 バラバラでも、ちゃんと一つになれる。 この作品は、そんな「人の強さと不思議さ」を表現しています。
