Description of the work:
Hirosaki Park in Aomori Prefecture is one of Japan's three most famous cherry blossom viewing spots, and is a historic cherry blossom park located within Hirosaki Castle. More than 300 ancient cherry trees, some over 100 years old, bloom in profusion around the castle tower, and the rows of cherry trees are lit up at night, creating a tunnel of cherry blossoms, creating a beautiful, floating view. Between the cherry blossoms, the dark night sky penetrates into a vast darkness. In stark contrast to the vibrant cherry blossoms, this space is a place of power. The artwork is a modern 3D painting made from durable polymer clay, and comes framed.
