Description of the work:
This three-dimensional painting depicts the hugely popular Sumida River Fireworks, held every July on the Sumida River in Tokyo. It's the oldest fireworks festival in Japan, with 20,000 fireworks set off at two locations downstream from Sakurabashi Bridge and Komagatabashi Bridge, attracting one million spectators (see the fourth photo). From the right, the Chrysanthemum Warimono Fireworks, the Seto Fireworks, and the Poka Fireworks. Surrounding the fireworks are the Skytree, Komagata Bridge, and the night view of the Sumida River. This modern 3D painting is crafted using durable polymer clay, which is then shaped and polished, and then decorated with a hardening and glossy surface treatment.
