Description of the work:
Kent paper is pasted on a wooden panel and a string is attached to a hook on the back.
This work depicts a large image of Mount Fuji, a symbol of Japan, with historical buildings such as temples, shrines and castles scattered around its base. The golden background represents the richness of Japanese culture and the brilliance of its future. Noh masks, Buddhist statues and traditional patterns are woven into the details, simultaneously projecting the spirituality and splendor that has continued since ancient times. By juxtaposing Tokyo Tower, a symbol of the modern era, with the eternally towering Mount Fuji, the "past, present and future of Japan" are superimposed on a single screen.
