Description of the work:
A reproduction of Rodin's The Thinker (see photo 6). The Thinker depicts the poet Dante sitting on a rock atop the Gates of Hell, agonizing and pondering the descent into hell. The work depicts the artist contemplating his life, schedule, and future plans, so as not to waste his time or life. Thinking anguished over a wristwatch can lead to brilliant ideas. A working replica is placed on your wrist. The painting tells the time. The polymer clay is shaped and polished, then hardened and finished with a glossy surface treatment. The watch can be removed and the battery replaced.
