百貨店のPOPデザイナー、ウィンドウディスプレイデザイナーを経て独立後、イラストの個展、グループ展を多数開催。現在はイラストやポートレート画（似顔絵・肖像画）のご依頼をいただき制作しています。また店舗の窓ガラスに絵を描くウィンドウアートや似顔絵出店の他、絵や工作の講師もしています。

1974年12月1日生まれ宮崎県生まれ兵庫県神戸市育ち・在住2006年サンフランシスコ州立大学卒業（Fine Arts 油彩専攻）動物が大好きで、猫たちと暮らしながら、主にネコ科動物を中心に描いています。中学・高校でも美術部に所属し、油彩を専門にしていましたが、最近は色鉛筆を使って描くことが多くなりました。黒のボード画材に色鉛筆で描く技法を始めた原点は、学生時代に画集で目にした、イタリアの巨匠レオナルド・ダ・ヴィンチの《洗礼者聖ヨハネ》に衝撃を受けた体験にあるのだと思います。実際にこの技法を始めたのは学校を卒業してからずっと後のことですが、この作品の印象は長く心に残り続けていました。輪郭をぼかす「スフマート技法」と、明暗の対比によるキアロスクーロによって表現された画面では、深い闇の中、天上から零れる光に照らされるヨハネが静かに浮かび上がります。彼は微笑をたたえながら右手で天を指し、「救世主の到来」を告げています。その姿は、聖書の中にある「光」と「闇」という象徴的な言葉を想起させます。画法として、静寂に包まれた「黒」の空間から人物が静かに浮かび上がる表現には、観る者へ直接訴えかける強い力を感じます。私はこの技法を通して、「今を生きるもの」や「心の中に生き続けるもの」を含め、生きものが本来持つ本質的な美しさを表現していきたいと考えています。【Instagram】yokok1201art
