1996年神奈川県生まれ、大学在学中の18歳から写真を始める。ネパールやキューバ、モロッコなど世界各地を旅しながら撮影を行う中で、「境界」の持つ強固さと曖昧さを写真活動のテーマに据える。2019年からは中東の紛争地とそこに生きる人々を写真に収めたほか、翌年には国境を題材に撮影を行い「境界」の形を模索してきた。大学卒業後はNHKで報道カメラマンとして国内政治や能登半島地震の被災地を取材する傍ら、東京、神奈川、長野、石川で展示を開催してきた。これまでにイスラエルとパレスチナを撮影した”Wandering Olive Trees”(2019)や、アメリカ・メキシコ国境間の壁を題材とした”Boundary”(2020)のほか”侵喰”(2023)を発表。近年は能登半島の道路をテーマに「轍」を制作している。

フィギュア、キーホルダー、小物、オブジェ、興味深いものたちに囲まれて生きる人に憧れて。なるべくおかしな、なるべく好きな色の、”ヤツら”を描いています。全て独学です。技術も実力もありません。ただ、日常に少しの彩りが欲しいのです。一人だと浮いてしまう個性も、誰かから見れば羨ましがられるコンプレックスも、全て素敵なもの。魅力的でありながらどこか不安な表情の”ヤツら”に囲まれて、日々楽しく生きております。派手で不安定な子達ばかりではありますが、案外壁に置いてあげると可愛いものです。感情、思想、概念の始まりの姿を描いた”Babies"小さな額に納めてコレクションしています。お友達を増やしてあげて。動きを持った情景を描いた”Icons"MDFのパネルにベッタリと。額装してもよし。小さなビラカンをつけて壁にかけるもよし。お任せします。もし出会うことがあれば、あなたに似た”ヤツら”を描かせてください。
