ルノワールの花の作品に世界三大幸福論の一つである『ラッセルの幸福論』をテーマとして加え、再構築した作品です。
【ラッセルの幸福論とは】
まず幸福になるためには不幸の原因である自己没頭を避けるべきで、自己没頭とは自分にばかり気が向いてしまい、周りに興味、関心が無くなってしまうことです。
そして幸福になるためには、外に興味や関心を持ち、私心のない純粋な趣味を見つけるべきで、やっていて楽しい事があれば嫌なことが起こっても気持ちを切り替えることができます。
もう一つ大事なことは、全てのことに対してのバランスです。
特に大事なのは努力とあきらめのバランスで、希望的なあきらめを持ち、時には努力を捨て去ることで幸福を手にし続けることが可能になります。
不幸と幸福の２つの視点から捨てるべき思考と持つべき思考を理解し、バランスによって安定的な幸せを確立するという考え方です。
