Description of the work:
The parrot is one of the "Six Birds of the Pure Land" that Amida Buddha transformed into in order to spread the Buddhist teachings, and is said to be an intelligent bird that can understand and imitate human speech.
It also has the significance of bringing awareness to people and opening their eyes to their dreams, so I created this piece with the idea of another version of myself (wise man) who helps people realize the potential within themselves and guides them.

By using only a painting knife to create dynamic, intuitive paintings, I attempt to create works that convey a powerful sense of breathing that has a different appeal to delicate paintings.
