Since ancient times, Japan has had animism and the belief that gods reside in all things, which has led to the creation of fearsome beings such as monsters and spirits.
Pete was born from the desire to create a pop, slightly playful and relatable character that represents the mysterious entity that haunts such things and events.
He has a troublesome quirk in that if he finds something he likes, he will immediately become possessed by it, and today he is still plotting to possess something and shock people.
