Materials: Mixed media (modeling paste, acrylic paint, illustration board, cardboard, etc.)
This work depicts the relationship between the life activities of all living things that take place amidst chaos and the order that emerges (or is found) within it. Chaos and order, stillness and movement, yin and yang, funny and serious. Sublation sublimates these oppositions. The artist believes that sublation is a way of thinking that is also related to the antagonism that Taro Okamoto spoke of. The black swirl in the lower right represents chaos in the biological world, and the sun in the upper left represents the resonant dawn found within chaos.
