Zensaku Yamakawa

Since 1990, I have been working overseas, studying three-dimensional painting techniques. Instead of using traditional stone or wood as the material, I have been creating clay paintings using highly durable polymer clay in collaboration with other artists in my studio for about five years, and promoting this style. From 2020 to 2024, I have been selected and awarded numerous works at public exhibitions. From these, I have selected clay paintings of a suitable size, about 30-50cm, suitable for wall decoration, and have published them on From Art, beginning to promote three-dimensional painting.
